Family of Faith 2024 - 2025
Only love creates. - St. Maximilian Kolbe
We are so excited to have you engaging with Family of Faith in the Pastorate this year, as we break open the story that is at the heart of our Catholic faith. These questions are going to guide our study of the Creed - what we profess and believe as Catholics.
October - Can we believe in God?
November - Do I need a savior?
December - Why would God enter the world?
January - How does God save us?
February - Why would Jesus die and come back to life?
March - Does the Church matter?
April - Do I want to spend forever with God?

This online content is meant to aid you in passing on the faith to your children and cultivating a rich Catholic family life at home. Here are a few tips and ideas to get you started:
Family of Faith will have the most impact on your own life and your family’s life when it’s accompanied by adherence to the precepts of the Church, which includes weekly Mass attendance and regular Confession.
Aim for spending 30 - 45 minutes each week on the at home work and lessons, which should add up to 2 hours a month, in addition to the in person session.
Parents have found most ongoing success when they commit to a regular time each week to work through material with their children.
Good teachers focus on preparation before they present the material to their students. Following that wisdom, we would encourage parents to review the material and complete background reading before teaching their kids each week!
There may be lessons and activities in your books that we don’t include in the weekly lesson recommendations, but you’re still welcome to explore those and use them if they are a good fit for your family.
